We are using the Easychair platform for submission of abstracts and proceedings papers. You will need an Easychair account.
Abstract submission
Contributed papers are requested on the innovative use of Bayesian methods or the maximum entropy principle. The abstract should clearly summarize the new work to be presented. Accepted papers will be presented at the meeting either as contributed talks (20 mins. + 5 mins. discussion) or posters.
Abstracts, limited to one page, can only be submitted through the Easychair platform via this link. Only the PDF file format will be accepted.
The abstract submission deadline is March 15 31, 2024. Authors will be notified regarding acceptance of their contribution on April 15 19, 2024.
Templates
An example of the abstract layout is available here.
Paper submission
All authors are required to submit a manuscript for a paper not exceeding 9 pages, also via Easychair (see instructions below).
Papers will be peer-reviewed to be considered for publication in the conference proceedings. The paper submission deadline is July 1, 2024 (start of the conference). The registration of at least one author and the presentation of the work at the event are preconditions for paper publication.
The conference proceedings will be published in the MDPI open access journal Physical Sciences Forum.
Papers that are currently under review or have already been accepted or published in a refereed venue, including conferences and journals, may not be submitted. Authors are encouraged to make data and code publicly available when possible.
Selected authors will be invited to submit an extended version of their paper for a Special Edition of the MDPI journal Entropy.
Practical instructions
To prepare your manuscript, please follow the author instructions of the journal Physical Sciences Forum. Please make sure to use the correct template!
To submit your manuscript (PDF), please log into your Easychair account, in your role as 'author' (not ‘proceedings author', nor ‘program author’). Click the magnifying glass to access your submission, select ‘add or update files’ in the top right menu and upload the PDF of your proceedings paper. Do not submit your paper directly to the journal! Only PDF file format is accepted.

- Tutorial talks: 1 hour, incl. 10 min. questions
